eLCs: Use them or lose them

...The ending of e-learning credits (eLCs) in August 2008.

It appears that any funds not spent by the end of the academic year (31st August), will be reclaimed by the DfES and redistributed to other areas. In practise "spent" means that schools must have either placed orders for resources or paid for ordered resources by 31 August.

I think I'd better send out an email reminding schools that they'd better spend them, or give them back.
