Salisbury Primary in Walsall has its first pupils join up to the site. The site has only been running for a month or so. Think of the site in a year or two. With pupils, parents and all the other stakeholders all members and participants in the site's community.

Having had many, many blogs myself, some that I still use, some that are now abandoned, I know what a slow process it is to build a community. Little old me, with not many friends on-line, who has to find new ones on-line to build that community. Ahhh. It can take an apparent age. But one thing I have learned, keep posting, and keep posting often and they'll come, and keep coming back, and they'll tell others and... At least with a school, there's an already formed community, a base to work with, if you like.
